HG - ANother PUMPER - Make that 26 now & were getting them 1, 2, 3 times a day now. I
guess your going to defend this PUMP as well HG?

Gordon can't figure out if Chavez is a bum or if he's in love with him. I'd go with bum.
Only losers play in chokeland. Need proof? See the postseason.

red hot with the bat and a glove of solid gold...could chavez be raising his game? if so,
it is long overdue. potential still not reached.

get this in hand for those moments when you think, "gee, why did the a's not make the
playoffs, AGAIN" then look at this card and you'll have your answer. bum

phosgene

Yup, and most likely you will STILL see 16 available on here for a buck fitty (or less).
Marx
6-14-2005
Yup and he'll most likely get consideration for player of the week again this week. Wish
etopps would make a new Chavez card with a sub-1000 PR card.

Dont own any of these, but for all you Chavez doubters there's nothing like going 5 for 5
with 2 homeruns

He started off terrible but has picked it up as of late...last weeks MLB Player of the
Week, probably a great in hand card in bay area

got his long term deal and went to pot. classic underacheiver. a pathetic waste of space
in the lineup. worthless card.

phosgene

He's on pace for a Massive 58 RBI

chavvy is going to the next level. crushing the ball. substantial bumps in the obp and
slg% this season. best all around 3b in baseball right now. many will argue that (now)
but they won't in 3 years.

phosgene

Yes, it's a good thing that playing for the A's hasn't kept him from being on TV in the
post-season, being a multiple-time All-Star, and a multiple-time Gold Glover. Could be
worse, he could be in Seattle and be looking up at the A's in the standings all the time.

comictrek

will win a 4th gold glove and STILL be the best fielding 3b in the AL--sorry a-rod.
phosgene

Plays for the A's.

With no contract worries and a healthy Dye batting behind him, Chavez should see better
pitches and post even better offensive numbers. Sub 2.5K PR in 2003 is definitely a bonus
since 2.5 looks to be the lowest 2004 PR for established stars.

May be a jewel in the Fantasy game.

3rd consecutive gold glove at 25. plus 3 consecutive 100 rbi seasons. the best is yet to
come!

phosgene
11-4-2003
12hr in 41 games vs AL West. last 3 games @ safeco where he has hit 4hr in 6 games. plus
he is smokin' now. gr8 gamble!

phosgene

Here is where performance effects card value which is kind of cool. If Chavey were to
nail 5 HR's in 16 games I think the OBP and RBis are done..he makes it which is a win to
anyone that paid $4.50 or less for this one

netjr

PB Looking grim, however not out of reach. To get 8 homers & 23 RBI in Sept he'll need to
BLAZE!

moemule
8-28-2003
Still could hit his PB numbers. Will be darn close. 9 tators and 26 RBI in about 30 games
could happen.

moemule

I wish he could play the tigers every night!!!!!

"You could make a case that Chavvy is the most naturally gifted player in the
game."--Billy Beane

phosgene
8-5-2003
I agree with the previous statement......He should be able to hit 6 tators in August and
6 tators in Sept.

moemule
8-4-2003
Great value. A hot streak away from meeting PB.
msdw
8-3-2003
As long as his back holds up, he should be a good investment.
jwhands
8-1-2003
A half a season to go.............He could and should meet his PB..........nice price
now!

moemule
7-15-2003
pr 600 more than Glaus and Chavez is 600,000x better right now w/1x10e9 more potential.
phosgene
7-6-2003
gr8 player, solid chance @PB, 1/2 the pr of the 2k2 and trading near the same price?
INSANELY cheap! buy!

oogyman is looking pretty smart right about now
cguitreau
6-26-2003
ooogyman 70 is not the problem eric needs nearly 100. He may do it but he needs to get
hot in a big way with men on. I still like this card hope he can do it...

timbase
5-27-2003
All-Star 3B looking like he'll meet his PB (c'mon, do you HONESTLY think he'll end up
w/less than 70 RBI?!?). Don't be surprised to see this card hit double digits by the
All-Star break.
