Where is KDog now lol??? Check out comments from 6/23-25. I said "easy 5 points for AL
ROY"??? Are you crazy??? I think Austin Jackson has something to say about that!!!

Any rookie card that goes for less than 2 will be MINE. For that much I take a risk.

Rookies have begun to fade this year. /yawn

Austin Jackson has a much better chance for ROY than this guy.......so does Wade Davis, P
for Rays.......

May not hit PB anymore either. :/

He hit beyond a rookie wall. That is a huge slump that started since the All-Star break.
What did he do during the All-Star break that turned a .342 hitter into a 4 for 42
hitter? He still is the leader for AL ROY (barely) in my opinion but he just let everyone
else catch up quickly.

He has hit the rookie wall. Don't count on those ROY points just yet.

If the ROY was given out at the All-Star break Boesch would win. Still 2 1/2 months left
in the season, anything can happen. If Feliz approaches 50 saves, I don't think its an
automatic lock for Boesch as some have predicted.

Feliz's ERA is 3.82, that will never win him a ROY award. Sure Andrew Bailey won, but his
ERA was 1.84, in an off year for AL rookies. It's very rare a reliever wins ROY, his ERA
has to be very low (under 2). Boesch is in the top 4 in AL in Batting, Slugging, and OPS.
Every article predicts him ROY.

It happened just last year. 2009 AL ROY Andrew Bailey. My how one forgets.

Someone that pitches well for less than an inning a game isn't going to win ROY. It'll be
awarded to an everyday player first.

Don't forget about Neftali Feliz for ROY. 23 saves at the break. I wouldn't hand it to
Boesch just yet.

Was AL Rookie of the Month for May and June - the only two months he's played since his
callup - will probably win July too.

Enjoy the points but be aware who you are bidding against and don't get shilled.

Boesch will win it easy. Factor it in.
Piddley

90% of the time it goes to the guy with the best average or most HRs (especially when
they have both (and Boesch has both and most RBIs too)) when a hitter wins it. Unless
Boesch gets hurt for more than 15 games he has AL ROY easy. He has the triple crown among
rookies. It will be near unanimous.

ive seen Austin Jackson on ESPN Top 10 Plays of the day several times for his stout
defense...yeah HR are nice in the stat line, but the ROY isnt always the guy with the
best average or most HR

LOL Austin Jackson. Austin Jackson has absolutely no chance of winning AL ROY. How is 1
HR, 15 RBI, and a .302 BA ever going to compete with 11 HR, 39 RBI, and a .346 BA.
Jackson only has 5 hits in his last 44 ABs, with 2 runs and 1 RBI, he is going in the
wrong direction. The AL ROY race is over.

Piddley
6-25-2010
thats why I used a key word in my sentence. "ASSUMING" -so dont twist my words. i also
said "BE CAREFUL" -did you miss that part. it usually means to be careful. lol why be
careful? because he MIGHT not win the ROY. and austin jackson cant win because he wont
hit HR's. thats a fact.

the $12 is justified assuming he does in fact get the ROY 5 reward points. not much
higher than that. be careful.

kdog51187
6-23-2010
The reason why this isn't $4-5 is this is an easy 5 points for AL ROY. You have to factor
that into it now. It was $6-7, now it is $11-12. That is a logical price increase if you
factor those 5 points in.

Pumpers unite. Could be as high as St.S. if they want it to be. Go man Go!!!!!!!!! This
years Casey from last year. Good player but $4.-$5.

I agree davejoys but I'm not interested enough to get any more than the one I was
allocated at IPO. There isn't much AL ROY competition this year so far for him.

Piddley
6-11-2010
Boesch is flying under the radar. If he keeps it up, he could easily be AL ROY with the
numbers he is putting up. People are sleeping on this one, but shh! don't wake them up.
