with the red sox in playoff contention and this closer with remarkable stats, this rookie
card should be higher :/

And eTopps cards dating back to 05. :-)

Stud - too bad he has cardboard dating back to 2003. Otherwise this would be a nice
card.

Wright is already a topps exclusive. Papelbon had to be paid extra to sign.

Why does the Papelbon auto cost more than the Wright autos? Papelbon isn't close to be
the star that Wright is. Waste of money. Especially this 2nd version of the eTopps
Papelbon 'rookie' with the crap logo on it.

99.999% of everyone is going to get shutout. Take my word for it, it will be sold out in
3 seconds. Best thing to do is flip the card fast for any profit and buy back after xmas
for 1/2 the price.

Occasionally, I'd like to get to one of those announcement emails myself.

His 2005 card is the one to own. but a definite ROY chance here.

ROY. How can he not be?

Top Notch Pitcher. He , alone, cannot make all of his saves. If they blow leads due to
player errors, why in the heck would that make people dump his cards. GREAT Pitcher

He'll get back on track tonight against the Orioles

Spiked for the love of Mick...sad...gee wonder who's involved in this one?

Oh oh. Two blown saves in a row. Watch this one fall to $4 as people look to dump this
non-perfect pitcher!

Really has the stuff of the next dominant closer. Probably the AL ROY... and this a real
'Rookie Card' per MLB guidelines.

Looks like he'll get PB too.

holy cow! you serious? he can be a starter? why didn't anyone else let us know this?
i thought he could only be a reliever for life!

um papebon can also be a starter once they convert hansen into their closer

His rookie is nice to have but a second card of a reliever? He will be Pujoled like Lidge
was at some point. Will he go in the tank like Lidge? Most do. Remember Dotel was CAN'T
MISS also!!!

Name me one reliever in baseball history that carries the premium this card currently
does. Got to agree with the last poster. First couple of blown saves and this is a $5
card.

HolmenVikings
6-29-2006
Sure Allen. Or you could wait until he blows a couple Saves then get them for $5 a piece.
Sharky
6-21-2006
Well Alin, if I was lucky enough to get 10 1/1s of this card, I could make 100s also. But
alas, I cannot. The ones I get match the etopps print run. Oh, to be as lucky as you are.

This card is suddenly being pumped. Not sure what the price will be after this card
cools off.

5-15-2006
Then I would think this would be termed an error card
calfan
5-11-2006
nope because topps is no longer saying its a rookie
matoswine69
5-9-2006
So if this one has the rookie logo and the shorter print run, is this going to soar like
the 2005 card?

MightyMitch
5-8-2006
wow this card is going to soar
allen775
5-7-2006
whats etopps going to call his 2005 card a pre rookie
matoswine69
5-5-2006
Most eTopps BB RC's have previous cardboard (Bonderman, Pujols & Ichiro are rare TRUE's)
It's the new MLB ruling. Looks like eTopps and CardTarget will have to duke it out as to
what's the real Rookie Card!

reddyredd
5-4-2006
he has 2003 cards available--this is not his rookie!!!
p11srad
5-4-2006
