1. Where did CardTarget come from?
CardTarget.com has been dedicated to the tracking, trading, buying, and selling of eTopps Sports Trading Cards since January of 2003. The site first started as a tracking site for the eBay auctions for eTopps cards. In December of 2003, CardTarget became the first external marketplace for eTopps cards to be bought and sold without the expense and hassle of dealing with eBay. Since that time, the CardTarget marketplace has grown and is the medium of choice for eTopps sellers. CardTarget prides itself on quick customer service, a 100% transparent marketplace, and the security of knowing that your payments are 100% secure and that you will get the merchandise you paid for.
2. Does it cost anything to use?
No, the site is completely free. Some of our advanced services are available for a small fee. All market transactions are always free for the buyer. The seller pays a small fee for each transaction to cover our fees and the credit card fees.
3. Can I make a suggestion for the site?
By all means, yes. Please use the contact page to get in touch with us, or post on our message boards under the site questions category.
4. I'm concerned about privacy, if I put my eTopps portfolio data into my CardTarget account, who has access to the data?
The CardTarget programming staff are the only people who have access to the data in the real portfolios. These users are not active buyers and sellers in the eTopps community and do not use this information for any personal gain. All buyer/seller statistics are from public eBay information and includes no information given to us through the portfolio tracking system.
5. I see all of the $.01 trades. Are those factored into your averages?
We mark certain auctions as "private" and they are not factored into any of our averages. Rest assured that $.01 auctions are not included in any of the averages.
6. How do I delete a card from my eTopps portfolio?
Go to the card details page for the card you want to delete, then click on "portfolio transactions". Once there you can "close" the transaction which will effectively delete the card from your portfolio.
